Pirate sketch just for fun. So swash your buckles or buckle your swashes you scurvy dog. Swab the deck and batten down the main jib. Thars a storm a-brewing out on the boundin’ main.
Hey, I went to Dominica a few times to visit a missionary. That is the island where most of the pirates in the “Spanish Main” stopped first when they came from Europe and the the last stop before they set sail back to Europe.
It is not as developed for tourism as some of the other Caribbean Islands. Here’s a little known fact. The Carib Indians (for whom the Caribbean is named) have their last know settlement on Dominica.
Dominica is different than the Dominican Republic. You’d have to look on a map. Dominica is WAY farther south than the Dominican Republic.
Parts of the Walt Disney movie “Pirates of the Caribbean” was filmed on Dominica. Just the jungle parts not the beach parts.
