Look at the word above. Look really closely,
Do you see it?
Look carefully.
Do you see the word good or the word evil or both?
There are both words there.
Did you know that some people take what is evil and twist it so much that they call it good?
The Apostle Paul talks about it in the book of Romans.
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie..

So, the only way to know what is good and what is evil is to know God’s word. It does not matter what people on TV, the news or school say. The only way to know what is good and what is evil is from the Bible.
In the book of Hebrews it talks about God’s word. It is like food. Little babies can only drink milk but as you grow older and stronger you can eat solid food. Learning God’s word is like that. You can learn about it and continue to grow stronger. That’s the only way to distinguish good from evil.
Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

So, as a family talk about how the Bible tells us what is good and what is evil (instead of actors, athletes, news casters or politicians).
